DESIGN FOR CHANGE

We are often stuck in our everyday routine, not thinking about what power and impact we have with our consumer decisions. With a help of design, I want to question every day, be able to reflect on what is happening and see ordinary things from a different perspective in order to redesign what is broken. 

DESIGN FOR SOCIETY

Design has changed dramatically over the last few years. Nowadays, what is crucial for designers is that they want to have a positive impact on society, they want to focus on what really matters. By careful observation and collaboration with the world around us, we can come closer to this goal. 

The master thesis project contemplates non-functioning systems which support extensive waste production and tries to understand and explore the core of the problem, consumption.
The author agreed to take her current student housing complex as a research base to observe relationships people have with their possessions concerning consumption patterns.

​When designing new products, it is crucial to have a holistic view to make the right decisions. We must focus on all phases of the product, from harvesting materials, through production and distribution to the use and disposal phase and try to close this loop.

DESIGN FOR ENVIRONMENT

It was a pleasure working with Dana, her sharp response and ability to adapt to all different requirements from research through technical drawings to applying in manufacturing has helped us to quickly achieve all goals and ideas we have created with our company missions. Dana is reliable, hardworking, quick learning and precise. Dana has helped us to develop interesting products from recycled materials, which are the future of improving environmental growth in interior furnishing.

We addressed Dana with the request to design an identity for our starting company. Due to excellent results, we also collaborated with Dana on the design of the webpage, business cards, promotional items and we consulted furnishing of our office spaces. Dana not only has a creative and precise approach to work, but she also differs from others with her unique ideas.

I had the pleasure to work with Dana on creating the brand of our common NGO OZ Oživô. Dana´s main contribution was the creative part of the brand development. She has developed the whole brand identity, came up with the brand name, designed the brand logo and contributed with hundreds of ideas for our workshops. She has made the brand authentic and has given her a soul. I was lucky to find such a creative and passionate co-founder.
