The assignment from the client was to design office furniture which is functional, affordable, easy to produce and different from ordinary office furniture. A specific element of the OFFSET series is the insertion of the inner part into the body, which creates an interesting detail. It also bounds an upper surface which make it more functional. The edge forms a barrier against the fall of objects placed on the top board. Even though OFFSET was originally designed for office spaces, furniture fits perfectly in households too thanks to the wide range of forms and materials. A total of 49 types of furniture was designed, from shelving solutions, through office containers to tall cabinets. OFFSET supports local design, since the furniture is designed and manufactured in Slovakia.
