The project was made during a four-day workshop as a part of the wood course in Banská Štiavnica, Slovakia. The topic was to create a wooden object to employ all senses. The wooden bowls made from waste wood were carefully crafted from the outside in comparison to the rough inside. As a part of the experience, bowls were filled with herbs, set on fire and placed onto the water surface. When the fire calms down, a bowl is taken back and the experience between observer and an object is amplified by the tactile aspect.
